S Valencia was founded in 2010 by now owner Steve Valencia. The concept started to become a reality after a dream.  

While attending an insurance conference near Sacramento California Steve wanted to find something to do! Not being familiar with the area he asked several employees in the hotel but none were familiar with the evening “events.”

So, Steve went to his room and fell into a dream state. He was reliving the ordeal of attempting to find what has “happening.”

And, near the end of the dream there were church singers standing in dark blue-purple robes sining “.COM” at the top of their lungs. 

Meaning, he remembers thinking what he stated to the conciere, “All I wanted to do is find out what was happening tonight!” and then the ” .COM ” awakened him.  

He could barely wait to purchase the domain WhatsHappeningTonight.com and WhatHappeningToday.com.  

Since that time he has spend endless hours learning web design using WordPress and the countless number of developer plugins. 

S Valencia is privately owned and funded by his insurnce sales via Athena Insurance and Financial Services.  

Athena Insurance and Financial Services was founded in 1996 as an indepent insurance brokerage focused primarily on Property, Casualty ans Surety.

Steve Valencia born 09/08/1956 in the city of Hayward California. 

Steve attended Tennyson High School and then went on to Chabot Jr. College. 

His hobbies are fishing and gardening.  He has goats and soon to have some chickens on his little homestead in Los Molinos California. 

His status is “single” and praying to find a companion in life someday.
